BLM PATCHES
Each Big East team will commit to support awareness of the Black Lives Matter movement through a BLM patch. Each home and away jersey of every player will don a BLM patch to signify solidarity and support of the movement. The patch will be visibly displayed on the left or upper chest. Additionally coaches will wear BLM pins.
Members of CFA are committed to supporting minority communities through a scholarship fund that will be awarded to a first generation minority student that holds a 3.0 GPA or higher that will elect to attend 1 of the 11 Big East institutions. The scholar(s) will be selected by a committee. Each CFA member will commit to a monetary contribution of $300 to the fund. We ask that the league matches the contributions made by each of the members.
VOTING AWARENESS
CFA is committed to educating our players, fellow coaches, and communities on the importance of voting in our local and national elections. We call on every team in the Big east to support this initiative by committing to host a Voter Registration Drive in early October in conjunction with their midnight madness event.
